Why the Ju-87 Stuka and P-51 Mustang?

Firstly, the Ju-87 Stuka and the P-51 Mustang hold a special place in my heart. Its reputation is well-deserved; it has a rich history, from air support roles to its key role in bombing campaigns. On the other hand, the P-51 Mustang is lauded for its versatility and agility, capable of performing both air support and fighter missions with remarkable efficiency. Its technological superiority and flexibility make it a standout choice.

The Impact of de Havilland Mosquito

The de Havilland Mosquito is another remarkable aircraft that stood out for its exceptional capabilities. It was faster than contemporary fighters, had a significant bomb load, and could usually hit its targets with precision. Perhaps most impressively, its cost of production was only a fraction of that of a heavy bomber like the B-17, making it an incredibly cost-effective choice.
